NuMe Pentacle 2-in-1 Curling Wand

Styling your hair in the mornings doesn’t have to be difficult. That is when you own the right styling tools. The Pentacle 2-in-1 Curling Wand kills two birds with one stone. It has the ability to curl hair OR add some beachy waves. 

I decided to give the NuMe Pentacle a try. While it seemed like an innovative tool, I was curious to find out if it worked as well as this brand advertised it. NuMe has been around since 2009 with over 2 million happy customers. Naturally, my expectations were set high!

NuMe claims this Nume Pentacle Wand is safe for all hair types, so in reality, it’s for anyone! I have very thin hair and found this curling wand worked nicely for my hair. However, the 45mm barrel is a bit large and my curls were turning more into waves by the end of the day. 

I think I’ll stick to a smaller barrel size like Nume’s Classic Curling Wand (19mm). The tighter curls produced by this wand stayed in my hair all day long! I would give the deep waver feature a 5-star! It gave my hair natural, beachy, and voluminous waves. I plan on using this wand more so for the wave feature than the curls.

What Makes This Curling Wand Special? 

The key takeaway when reviewing the Pentacle Curling Wand is its 2-in-1 design. It was nice to switch from curls to waves in a matter of seconds. I will say this hot styling tool requires a bit of a learning curve but once you learn how to use it properly, styling will be a breeze. 

I highly recommend it for medium to thick hair since the curls provided by the 45mm barrell will probably stay much longer than they did on my thin hair. However, other reasons I liked this curling wand include: 

• – Quality Material. This wand is made from 100% tourmaline ceramic. This is among the safest and best materials you can invest in because they’ll provide the least damage to hair while eliminating frizz. 
• – Long, Flexible Cord. You don’t really realize you need a 7-foot 9-inch cord until you have it. With this long cord, you won’t be limited to where you can use it. Also, the swivel design doesn’t get in the way while styling your hair. 
• – Negative Ion Technology. NuMe is well-known for its negative ion conditioning technology which eliminates frizzy hair in a matter of seconds. I loved the smooth, bouncy curls it gave my hair while getting rid of frizz and flyaways.

Why Should I Buy This Curling Wand? 

This curling wand will save you time and money. It heats up quickly, curls in a matter of seconds, and is a 2-in-1 wand. 

The learning curve isn’t too bad; however, you’ll probably need to practice a few times to get it down right. To use the curling wand, you need to wrap your hair around the barrel for a few seconds before releasing it. Make sure to put some heat protectant in your hair and wear your heat-resistant glove (included) while using this tool. 

To access the wave feature, unlock the clasp which will open the V-shaped plates. Divide your hair into one-inch sections and work through your hair. The wavy hairstyle takes longer than the curls but it’s well worth it!
