It’s equipped with ceramic and tourmaline technology, which makes the dryer lightweight and fast-drying. The cool shot button ensures your look gets locked and set after drying, and the extra-long, salon length cord means you have extra movement when styling. Overall, we think this is a great choice for those without big bucks to spare, and features most of the functions you’d expect from a more expensive dryer.

Heat and Speed

Of course, these are the most important aspects of a hairdryer. This model has an impressive amount of heat settings for one of its budget range. Note that some customers found the top setting very hot; so beware and reduce the heat when you use. We always recommend that you try not to use the top heat setting anyway; at least not all the time. Protect your hair’s health and elasticity for longer by reducing its contact with heat.

There could be more speed settings available with this model; but the dryer offers average speeds that most hairdryer users will find fine to use.

Use the diffuser if you have naturally curly, wavy or textured hair – this will spread the airflow over a wider surface area and won’t ruin your natural hair texture. Create bouncy curls and defined waves this way. For straight hair, the concentrator nozzle instantly adds volume to otherwise lacklustre hair. Point underneath roots while drying for lift and bounce. Tip: add extra volume and texture with a barrel brush while drying.
